Measuring Cup

Measuring cup yg dimaksud disini adalah spt ini:





Liquid Versus Dry
Pair the right tool with the right ingredient. Pour liquids into clear measuring cups. To get the best reading, look at the liquid line at eye level. Scoop dry ingredients into graduated cups, using the appropriate size for your measuring needs.


Flour
Instead of using a scoop to transfer flour from the bag to the measuring cup, employ the "dip and sweep" method. Dip a dry-measuring cup directly into the flour, then use a straightedge—such as a flat-edge spatulato level the top. This will remove any hidden air bubbles and will ensure an accurate measurement.


Sugar
When a recipe calls for "firmly packed" brown sugar (don’t use "brownulated"), it should look compact (above, right). Compress it tightly with your fingers so that it’s level with the top of the measuring cup. Before measuring a liquid sugar, such as honey or corn syrup, lightly coat measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray-it will slide out more easily.



Biasanya digunakan sbg takaran ingredients yg kering ataupun yang cair, bahannya ada yg terbuat dari steinless steel dan ada juga yg terbuat dari plastic...yang bagusnya siih yg steinless steel...1 set cup terdiri dari bbrp ukuran, 1 cup, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4cup
